Form is sold for Seven Thousand Naira (₦7,000) and payment for form can be made through online payment with your ATM (Debit) Card on the admission portal.
DCE is an abbreviation for Directorate for Continuing Education.
Who is DCE Form For?
DCE offers both Evening (Full Time) and Weekend (Part Time) Programmes. In addition, it also offers those with OND the opportunity to upgrade their result to ND, which is the key requirement for HND admission.
Note: Morning and Evening programmes are equally FULL TIME programmes. No difference in priviledges and treatment, except that evening school fees are much more expensive. Apart from that, you will get the same benefits, and eventually same certificate as the morning counterparts. And for the HND programmes, both morning and evening graduates are mobilized for NYSC.
Why DCE Form?
If you are not opportuned to get admission into the Morning Programme because your UTME score is less than this year’s cut-off point of 180, or if you did not take 2016 JAMB UTME, then evening programme is a good option. If you’re a worker, and need to study part-time, then the Weekend Programme is good for you. If you have OND or University Diploma, and want to start HND programme with it, then Pre-HND admission is your best bet.
All these are offered by the DCE Programme. So, if you fall into any of the aforementioned three categories of applicants, you need the DCE form to get admitted here.
